Project Description
1st April 2026, A free eye screening camp has been completed at Katariya Bazaar, Bibah Bhawan, Katariya 5, Rautahat. The free eye screening camp, which was organized under the coordination of the local organizer, Local Development Center, Katariya 2, saw 130 people get screening. Out of which, 49 were found to be cataract patients who needed surgery.
Patients from Katariya 5, Rautahat, will undergo surgery in the surgery that will begin from Chaitra 20 at Hetauda Community Eye Hospital, Hetauda. Rotary Club of Hetauda managed the food, accommodation, transportation to and from Hetauda, and all the expenses of the surgery for all the patients who needed surgery.
Rotarians and Retractors participated significantly in the free eye screening camp organized with the technical support of Hetauda Community Eye Hospital (Tilgankha Eye Program).
