Description
Flooding in Jhapa, including in the areas within Jhapa Rural Municipality (Rural Municipality), has been a recurring seasonal problem, largely triggered by monsoon rains and river overflows. In september 2025, around 3500 families were affected and more than 7 schools were submerged. To address these systemic issues, we reconstruction of the building at Shree Kuwadi Devi Secondary School uplifting to a higher height, the construction of flood-resilient toilet at Simalbari Primary School and the installation of 12 High- raised Tube Wells in both the mentioned schools of Jhapa Rural Municipality. It will help to provide shelter in flood time and study will not get disturbed due to flood and clean water can be managed at such critical time
